The 2024 Red Debacle 2

Image
Cocaine's a helluva drug. Welcome back for the second half of the 2024 Red Debacle.  We return in full Paul Harvey mode with Ron Dion DeSantis: The Rest of the Story. And if there's one thing Dion is good at it is storytelling, as we learned yesterday when we travelled with him down Penny Lane to find a baby dropped in a tin pan. Here's another fearsome tale of woe:  On Fentanyl, Dion says someone he knew took one (1) laced Percocet pill and instantly died. That’s not how it works. The Swine portray Fentanyl like cyanide then blame our enemies for its presence to keep you clamoring for war, which you will. For me, I don’t think any politician truly cares about Fentanyl. I have history to stand on in this thinking. They didn’t care about morphine or the heroin they cooked and introduced to society to “stop morphine addiction” or the methadone, oxycontin, oxycodone, or suboxone. No, they handed those drugs out like Pez. Not the cartels but Big Pharm via crank doctors. This wh...

The 2024 Republican Debacle: Go Police State!

Image
The Hateful Eight. Live from Fisery forum.   The damn thing is really starting with a country song. I don’t hate what the song says, what’s funny about it is that politicians, the very rich men the song is hating on, are pimping it. That Fox News is pimping it. These myopic twats gloss over the fact that the singer of said song isn’t just talking about the Biden Administration, he’s generalizing politicians. That means them. I hope the politicians are glossing the blanket insult over for propaganda purposes only because if they believe that song is speaking for republican interests, they’re stupider than I think they are. But maybe it's neither of those. Maybe they’re pimping it because they want that guy on their side so he can sing a song about what awesome messiahs the Republicans are in the face of our current 'Satanic' democrats. If the Elephants open those pocketbooks, it's over with…that's why I laugh when folk singers dis the rich. Especially when they the...

The Rube's Masterful Focus Exercise

Image
One thing none of us needs to do us indulge shit thoughts. I, and others, get lost in shit thought and go mad. Ole Hank up there did. Hell, he made a career out of it. A lot of writers do. That's a big part of why we write, so that crap doesn't fester. But you can't write every second of every day, right? What then? I like to do this simple exercise. In the garage, kitchen, elsewhere. In any place where there are many items. I look on the shelf. See the WD-40. See Phil Swift on the bottles of Flex Seal. Bicycles, a Honda, a Mini Cooper. Ladder. The cacti. Old printer box. Self tappers, a hose extension, and so on. In the kitchen, a blender. Sink and counter and toaster. Oven. You can see where I'm going with this. Though it sounds stupid and boring if you take five and do this, then move without pause to your next task, your brain will work better for you.  Racing thoughts on the job? Have a look at your current surroundings and label five or six of them. It takes the ...

Neuralink, Mengele Musk, and Related Dystopia

Neuralink. I think we all know what it is, so I'll just cut right to the meat of the situation. 99% lean. There's a lot to cover. If you allow the system to put a microchip in your brain, the system now owns you. You don't own your brain anymore. Recall that creepy Schwab comment, "by 2030 you'll own nothing, and be happy about it"? Well, ho-ho. Neuralink would be a great way to ensure that, wouldn't it? Thou art malcontent? Well, we'll just turn you off, eh? Or at least turn off your ability to be malcontent. Maybe plug you into one of our machines so you can better serve the system as a battery, *considering every human body, in shape or not and even at rest, contains enough electricity to power NY for 4 days.* (source: A Complete History of Nearly Everything  by Bill Bryson) Can't be right? Yes. Indeed it can. Put nothing past technology. Remember the phone in your hand, and how you once thought there was just NO WAY they'd ever have somethi...
